The Natural Approach

Por el título ya sabéis de qué trata, nos comenta e introduce en Natural Approach, pero ¿qué es esto del Natural Approach? Os lo explicamos justo a continuación (eso sí, en inglés ;) )

The natural approach is a method of language teaching developed by Stephen Krashen and Tracy Terrell. It aims to foster naturalistic language acquisition in a classroom setting, and to this end it emphasises communication, and places decreased importance on conscious grammar study and explicit correction of student errors. The motivation, the confidence, the anxiety low and the lexicon both perceptions and productions is considered essential for reception and production of messages in this theory.

This method is for beginners in a new language and focuses on communication (not to write grammatically perfect sentences).
